Hi I’m Paula, welcome to my website.
I’m currently working on a novel about PTSD and the reclaiming of self, so this blog is where you will find my latest musings and linguistic experiments. There’s short stories, poetry, and encouraging articles, often on topics that intrigue me or have a burning need for expression.
My inspiration comes from nature and from the clashes we inevitably create when we tell Mother Nature we know better. I believe there is always a simpler, calmer way of life if only we would get out of our own way!
I adore the Queensland rainforest and will continue to try and to capture its magical essence in the photographs I take. It’s there, surrounded by those ancient trees and the stillness of the forest, that my thoughts regroup and I recharge.
There’s no doubt that I was born questioning society’s values and have always lived my unusual life alongside a stream of quiet rebellion. Now, as a grandmother of nine precious little people, I hope to write what I have learnt and observed along the way.
Feel free to include your details in the email subscription box at the top of the page to receive my blog posts directly to your inbox.
I’d love to hear from you.
Stay True <3
